Product photography on a white background – glass and decorative objects
In this album, I present product photography created in the studio on a white background. The photographed objects include glass vases, a decanter and a porcelain figurine. The neutral surroundings focus attention on shape, colour and decoration, without additional elements distracting the eye from the object itself.
I am particularly interested in photographing glass: its transparency, sheen and the way light emphasises the edges of a vessel. In this series, I contrast smooth surfaces with more complex forms and decorative details. I try to show both the silhouette of an object and the characteristics of the material from which it was made.
Photographs on a white background can be used to present products in catalogues, online shops and promotional materials. The gallery shows my approach to studio still-life photography: simple composition and a clear presentation of detail. Selected photographs are available in the linked stock collection.
