Property development photography – housing construction and cranes
In this album, I present photographs of property developments under construction. Multi-storey residential buildings, tower cranes and construction sites form a picture of emerging housing estates. Wide views show the scale of each development and its surroundings, while closer shots focus on building structures and the repeating pattern of floors.
When photographing these spaces, I pay attention to geometry: the vertical lines of cranes, horizontal floor slabs and the rhythm of openings in walls. I am also interested in how light changes the appearance of a construction site. Alongside photographs taken in daylight, I show cranes against the evening sky, when their silhouettes stand out clearly from their surroundings.
This is a photographic view of residential development, rather than simply a presentation of completed properties. The images can illustrate publications about construction, the housing market and investment projects.
